The Modern Mentor program is a series of interactive lectures designed to help girls explore their internal relationship to themselves. Topics are all based on the foundation of self-love. Classes include short written exercises, centering tools to manage stress and time set apart for questions and answers. The goal of the program is to give girls the tools to handle the tribulations of life and help them to be emotionally independent. Modern Mentoring aims for girls to be self-soothing, confident and of service to others.

This September we’re covering how to manage school year stress, focus on positive thoughts to create confidence, and build self-esteem by trusting ourselves. Girls will make affirmation cards they get to take home so mentoring can continue even after class!

Stress and anxiety are extremely common among adolescents especially during the school year (American Psychological Association). The mind and body are directly connected. What you eat can trigger anxiety and anxiety can trigger what you eat. Join Maggie DiPasquale, holistic teen wellness mentor, and Simone Krame, founder of Conscious Living & Lifestyle, for a talk on anxiety, stress, and taking care of your body from the inside out.

With a passion for helping girls understand the connection between their minds, bodies, and spirits, Maggie created the Modern Mentor Program to help foster a generation of happy, healthy young ladies. As a wellness resource for girls, she implements her work one-on-one, in workshops, and at schools across the tristate area. She is the author of From Stressed Out to Zenned Out and her work has been featured on the radio and blogs including Boston’s 103.3 Amp Radio, Teen Vogue, and Yoga Journal. Maggie is a 200 hour yoga teacher studying under Amy Pastore. She graduated from Boston College and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Education with a concentration in Spirituality and Mind Body Practice from Columbia University.
Simone Krame began her career at Canyon Ranch, a premier Health & Wellness Resort in Tucson, AZ where she held various positions ranging from Operations Manager of Health, Healing & Spiritual Wellness to Director of Guest Experience. She then took her passion for spirituality & health one-step further by founding, Conscious Living & Lifestyle, a coaching practice to support individuals achieve physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
Simone graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelors degree in Finance and concentration in Spirituality and Health. Currently, she is working on her Masters in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Mind, Body, Spirit Medicine at Columbia University and her Primal Health Coach Certification. Simone is a Certified Personal Trainer, Balanced Bites Nutrition Practitioner, and has participated in a variety of mind, body, spirit courses, workshops, and webinars that, coupled with her life experience, allow her to be confident in her knowledge and approach to coaching clients.
