In this yoga girls series we’re combining mentoring and yoga to set the foundation for happiness,confidence, and most of all self-acceptance.
In addition to yoga asana practice, topics will include:
Relaxation techniques to de-stress
Finding confidence through self-acceptance
Happiness through gratitude
The series is led by yogi, author and modern mentor Maggie DiPasquale. With a passion for helping girls understand the connection between their minds, bodies, and spirits, Maggie DiPasquale created the Modern Mentor Program to help foster a generation of happy, healthy young ladies. As a wellness resource for girls, she implements her program in schools and groups across the tristate area. Maggie is the author of From Stressed Out to Zenned Out and her work has been featured on Boston’s 103.3 Amp Radio, Teen Vogue, and Yoga Journal. She is also a 200 hour yoga teacher, having studied under Amy Pastore. Maggie graduated from Boston College and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Psychology and Education with a concentration in Spirituality and Mind Body Practice from Columbia University.
No prior yoga experience necessary!
